Condition: Walnut and case in very nice condition with original finish. There is a small piece missing on the front edge of the base. The signed movement has been shifted down from its original position and needs to be repositioned. Most of the gilding on the original bezel is intact. Paper dial is worn and abraded. Hands are original. The base is stamped "Davies Pat'd". There is also a very nice clean label on the back. Original pendulum is also market "Davies Pat'd". Dome is a replacement and does not fit the base, and is a bit short, reason the movement was moved downward. This can all be corrected if you find a taller dome. Height 16.25 inches
