C.1900, English, Webster, Queen Victoria St, London, Quarter chime, 3-fusee bracket clock, in oak, 12 bells with hour strike on a 13th giant bell, 8-day, serial No. 16746.

Condition: Carved oak case in good condition, exception follow: there is minor damage on the corners of the case just below the finials; small quarter molding replaced. A piece of the right rear foot is missing and the top finial has tip missing and is loose. There is shrinkage crack in the dial surround. Heavy silvered brass dial is very nice and the hands are original. Both dial and movement are signed: "Webster, Queen Victoria St., London 16746". Clock has a heavy plate chain drive fusee movement in very clean condition. Movement has 12 tuned bells with 4-bells playing Westminster, or your choice of 8-bells playing Whittingon chime, selection levers near 3. Also F/S adjust from dial near 12. Impressive. Height 28.5 inches
