Condition: Mahogany case is in nice condition with scratches and dings to the original finish. Original painted dial that reads "Morath Bros, Liverpool" is clean with some minor flaking and wear at around 6 o'clock. Hands are original. Well-made chain drive fusee movement is stamped: "W and H". There is also a Morath Bros. paper trade label inside the rear door. There is a small plaque on the front that reads: "Presented to Mr. John Douglas, Easter Duddingston, Portobello, by his friends of the Edinburgh Waverly Market, as a tribute of their respect and esteem, on his retirement, November, 1905". Inside is original sales label dated April 28, 1905. Height 20.25 inches
