C.1900 French, Charles Hour for Grogan and Co., marble mantel clock, mini tall clock motif, 8-day time and bell strike. Condition: Ornate yellow marble case is in good condition with just a little roughness on the sharp edges. Bronze trim on case and cylinder that houses the movement were originally silvered, but is now largely worn to brass. Gilt dial is in good condition with some wear to the numbers. Hands are original. Dial is marked "Grogan Company, Pittsburgh - Paris". Movement is marked Ch. Hour. There is some surface rust to the movement steelwork. Worth restoring. Height 12.25 inches
