C.1910, French, Leroy, Horoger du Roy, Paris, lyre form mantel clock with swinging brilliants, 8-day time and strike. Condition: overall very good condition, this is a 20th century version of the lyre clock, and the case seems to be simulated white marble substance that a Frenchman formulated; it looks like the "real thing". The brightly gilded ormolu is original and in good condition. The hands do fit but are a little long, and are probably from another clock. Fancy dial is perfect. The pendulum bob only has been made recently to fit, as the original was misplaced. Clock seems to run fine and has a "good look" Height 15.5 inches
