C.1835 Roman M. Butler, St. John, N.B., Canada, 8-day time/strike wood movement half column and splat shelf clock.

Condition: Mahogany veneered case in very good condition with an old finish, with some veneer loss on the base and repairs to the door. Bottom mirror is original. Center mirror is a replacement. There is evidence of original stencils on the columns and splat under a Very dark finish. The chimney caps are properly restored. Original painted dial is in very nice condition. Wooden movement appears to have been made by Jeromes and Darrow. No weights. A paper strip printed "Eight Day" was pasted on the label, been there long time. Height 39.25 inches
