C.1900 Japy Freres, tan marble mantel clock ,8-day time/strike.

Condition: Marble case is in very nice condition with just a small chip on the back corner of the top and a little roughness on the sharp edge of the right side of the base. Original and highly decorative porcelain dial has a minor hairline crack. Hands are original. Dial is signed "N. G. Wood and Sons, Boston". The applied cast ornaments have retained most of their gilding. The brass grommet at the strike side wind arbor is missing. Height 13.25 inches
