The dial and movement are signed for JF Bautte, a well-known Swiss maker. In this case he imported the movement from France, added the finishing touches and placed it in a Swiss case. The case has a frosted gilt finish. The movement has been stripped, cleaned and overhauled. It strikes the hours and half-hours on a bell and has an alarm. The leather carrying box is in excellent original condition.
