The case is bronze which has been hand engraved and finished. The porcelain panels are hand painted Paris porcelain in the Sevres style. The movement, which is signed for the eminent Japy Freres commemorating the unique Grande Medaille d'Honneur awarded to them at the Paris exposition of 1855, has been serviced and is guaranteed for a year.
