The very attractive black enameled case with faux marble columns and top panel compliment the clean, good running eight-day movement. The mechanism strikes the full hours on a melodious coil gong and marks each half-hour with one strike on a small bell. There is even an old seller's business card inside the case (see photograph)from the small town of East Berlin, Pennsylvania, where the clock was either serviced or sold many years ago. When we got the clock, the brass door bezel and glass were missing altogether. We were able to replace it with one that looks great and fits O.K. (although not like a glove). Clocks of this quality and type usually sell for around $350-400. We are offering this one for just $225 to the first buyer to claim it. Height: 11 in. (27.94 cm) Depth: 6 in.
