Here it is folks-the "last" of the Seth Thomas "RIO's"!!! Out of the collection that has made available five Seth Thomas "RIO" wall clocks, this is the final one that we will be able to offer from that source. The others all sold almost as soon as they were put onto our web site. This nice example has an original painted dial and a professionally cleaned and good running brass eight-day movement with a calendar mechanism. The movement strikes the hours on a coil gong. The case has been given an attractive ebony laquered finish. The painted dial is clean and attractive. I'll keep looking for "RIOs" because they always appeal to our customers. But, I never found one before in our many years in the antique clock business and may not come upon another for years to come. Priced appropriately for for a quick sale to some lucky buyer.
