The dial has been recovered professionally and the pendulum may be a later addition although in the correct original pattern. The very clean, recently serviced lyre shaped movement runs well and keeps good time.It is signed with the following details S. THOMAS THOMASTON, CT. USA PAT. Dec. 28, 1875. There is a readable paper label inside the case (see photograph) and the strike sounds one time each half-hour and the full count on the hours. Height: 24 in. (60.96 cm) Depth: 5 in.
