Waterbury Clock Co. hanging clock, the "Carleton", ca 1893. All original walnut case is 42 inches high, one of there poplar models, inexpensively made yet has good style lines, a good size to fit most any wall space. It has nickel accessories, pendulum, dial rings, gong base. Original signed two piece dial with just slight wear in the usual place where a right handed person would rub the dial, around the 7 and 8. Movement is 8 day, half hour gong strike, running briskly. There is about 90% of two different labels on the back. Case extra clean, metal polished and shining. Ly- Waterbury No. 610.
