An unusual amount of mechanical apparatus squeezed inside. Mahogany cabinet case has just enough woodwork to be very attractive. The silver dial with painted numerals is very nice. Usually dials of this type tend to be worn pretty badly. Beveled and bowed glass in the brass sash. The 8 day signed Seth Thomas movement is marked "89AE", the chime movement is marked "90". It is running and chiming but service is recommended. For whatever reason Sonora Bell Chime clocks are now in great demand. Seth Thomas No. 719.
