Gustav Becker Vienna Regulator in a 3/4 size walnut case that was restored years ago. As headpieces go, this one is different, carved and etched, and we feel is original to this case.

Turned half columns are very nice, as is the carved and etched tail. The movement is 8 day even considering the shorter pendulum drop. It runs strong and strikes half hours and hours on a coil gong. It is signed by Becker and the serial number inscribed is 238674, which dates the clock, ca 1878. All the brass is shining, weights, pendulum, and dial rings. Two piece porcelain dial and porcelain beat scale, all excellent, clean and shining. There are 3 good glasses.
