White porcelain cartouche numerals and original hands. The movement is 8 day, unsigned, running strong, striking a wire gong half hours and hours. I let it run over a week to make sure all was well and other than a little slow, it was just fine. The Centigrade Thermometer with mercury is close to accurate when compared to other thermometers in the room. I notice the Aneroid Barometer with porcelain dial is complete and made a significant change during the week, so will speculate it is OK but may need to be calibrated. We have had 15-20 of these in recent years and this may well be the best of the lot. See Ehrhardt, Book 3, page 90 for very similar French Cartel clocks.
