. This is one of the perfect clocks that was part of a large collection of Ansonia Royal Bonn's we purchased a couple of years ago. It is a tall case standing 14.5 inches high, and is 10 inches wide. Beautiful colors are principally rose, changing to light, then dark green at the base. Nice flowers painted on the case and of course gold used as accent on the high spots. As they so often did, they put a lions head at the top and some mythical varmints on the sides. As usual, the movement is 8 day, half hour gong strike, open escapement in front of the two-piece porcelain dial. Everything is clean, shining, running, and striking. Ly-Ansonia Page 635.
