Strikes hours and half hours on standing gong. Two unusual features about this clock. It strikes bim-bam, 2 hammers hitting the same gong, and the dial is marble, black and gold etched with gold. The dial is signed "J.E.Caldwell", a Philadelphia store. The round movement is signed "A.1." There are 4 great beveled glasses and a contemporary bob. At first glance you think the clock is a Plain Jane, but the marble dial elevates it to the next level.
