Terry and Andrews, Bristol, Ct. U.S.A.", shelf clock.

Signed movement and label the same. Everything appears original on this early shelf clock, except the hands. 8-day movement has oversize springs, strikes hours on a coil gong, and seems to be running very strong. The dial, pendulum, both wonderful glasses, and the gold stenciling on the case, are all original. The lower tablet was probably rebacked. Mahogany veneer case is 15.5 inches high, no veneer problems except a tic on the backside of the base and a good strip scraped off on the top back left corner. It was repaired previously in that spot, now needs it again. This is a very nice early shelf clock with great eye appeal because of the stenciling and colorful matching glasses.
