A porthole opening with turned wood bezel in the push button latched upper door. The lower door has a fancy slide latch. The silver dial is 7.75 inches with a second bit, and mounted on an engraved 11 inches square brass back plate. The dial center is also engraved and the engraving in both matches the engraving on the weights. The wood stick pendulum has a plain 7.5 inches bob, satin finished. Unusual bob because the adjust knob is on the bottom but the adjusting takes place in the center. Probably one of the best German bobs we have ever seen and would be expensive to manufacture. The 8-day movement is powered by 2 weights, strikes a single nickel plated 48.5 inches long tubular gong, on hours and half hours. The movement is larger than a normal Vienna movement. It was made to be a wall clock or a floor clock, buyer's choice. The clock is running and striking properly.
