This clock is incorrectly identified as "LaClair" on page 637, Ly-Ansonia. It is one of the rarest models of the Ansonia repertoire of porcelains. This one is baby blue, some white, more gold tint than on most models, a bevy of flowers on the front and sides. On the top, sides, and base, there are six sections that are raised and look a little like screen wire. Nice rich looking top with a lot of gold, loops and arches, all combine to make a very attractive case. It is rather large standing 15 inches high, 11 inches wide. 8-day movement, half hour strike, running. Two piece porcelain dial is perfect, open escape, beveled glass, everything clean and shining all over. Correct hands, pendulum, back cover, and key. These last two clocks from Keith and Donna Miller's collection.
