The original finish was a rich gold, now hardly any gold left, worn down to the copper base except the four glass and door frames are polished brass. This is a nice crystal regulator when in good condition. Some people like the simple case style. All four beveled glasses are free of chips. Good imitation mercury pendulum. Two piece porcelain dial has acquired several hairlines, open escapement, correct hands. 8 day movement, half hour gong strike, running very strong. The clock stands 16.5 inches high and is 8.75 inches wide. The urn base is a replacement. You can get the urn bases for $5 and new porcelain dials for $33, from Timesavers. Give it a new finish and you have an $800 clock. Ly-Ansonia No. 360.
