A plaque on the base calls it "Combat De Tigers, Par Lemoyne (Medaille)" The metal statue has been professionally refinished. It rests on a piece of beige marble with black and white veins. The base is 13 inches by 8 inches, and the total piece is 15 inches tall and 15 inches wide. The fancy 3 inches porcelain dial is perfect, no chips or hairlines, with a painted garland of flowers around the numerals. The bronze sash is holding a perfectly beveled and bowed glass. The 8-day movement strikes hours and half hours on a bell, with outside count wheel, running perfectly with a correct pendulum. An ornate brass hinged door covers the rear. The back of the statue is signed, "Lemoyne France", and inlayed in the casting is a medallion stating, "Fabrication Francaise Made in France Paris". Maybe not a clock for the pacifist but maybe a big game hunter.
