This is a big, heavy clock, 41 inches high, 8 pound iron weight. Everything looks straight and correct excepting the lower glass which has a paper scene stuck in behind. The solid mahogany case has not been tinkered with or cleaned. After removing the dial and throat glass to get a good look all I see one would want to do is downsize some enlarged screw holes, get a correct bottom glass, and clean and polish the brass and case. The movement, pendulum, weight, and dial, are all correct and original for this clock. The 8 inches dial is called an "Antique Dial" in the catalogs. The glass over the dial is convex and the brass is gone from the sash. The 8 day movement (see side picture) is clean and running. A lot of clock but needing some fine tuning. Ly-New Haven No. 192.
