The only difference I see between the 1895 model and 1911 model is the later model strikes the half hours. This walnut case has special burl veneer around the base. It was refinished about 40 years ago, has a new porcelain like dial paper on the old pan, otherwise it is all original; cupids, pendulum, finials, glass, gilt ornaments, and all wood parts. 8 day movement strikes hours on a cathedral gong. Everything is clean as a pin and clock is running beautifully. It was recently serviced and should be good for years. Ly-New Haven No. 1243.
