. Nice fancy walnut case, 23 inches high, original finish, good Kroeber label on back, full carved columns with applied wood rosettes, one rosette missing. Tip of the top fancy carving is missing; has been finished off and is hard to notice. Paper dial is old replacement. 8-day signed Kroeber movement strikes the hours and half hour on cathedral gong. Runs and strikes properly. Old glass, hands and fancy beveled glass pendulum with up and down indicator dial. Ly-American Clocks, Volume One, No. 548.
