One weight, 8 day time only movement is original to this early case, unsigned, running with a slow pendulum movement. Flat one-piece porcelain dial is 6.5 inches wide, machine bezel is exceptionally nice. The unusual hands, although more exaggerated than similar hands used during this period, are original to the movement. The top of the wood stick has had additions and repairs but we still believe it came with the pendulum and movement. Weight may not be original; porcelain beat scale appears to be original as are the brass wall levelers, brass bob and pulley. Six glass mahogany case is 35.5 inches long, with a ripple type molding around the top and a small carved piece on the tail. Any glass not original to the case was installed in such a professional manner it is hard to tell. All brass has been polished, case is clean. The early dachluhr clocks, when all original, have been selling from $6000 to $7500. We can not in good faith guarantee it to be 100% original, but it is surely close.
