Instead of bells, there are 5 rods. Plays the chimes each quarter, strikes the hours. Large signed movement is mounted to a seat board, running and striking properly. 5.5 inches silver dial is in very good condition, little wear, marked on the dial, "Made in Germany for Kuehl Clock Co., Chicago". Bowed-beveled glass in the brass sash. Walnut case is 16 inches high, good string inlay and marquetry on the front. Complete, original, in very good overall condition.
