Heavy bronzed cast case with classical floral and petal motif. 25.5 inches high, and 10 inches wide at the base. French movement is a little unusual for this type clock. It is a striker. Typical French movement, striking a brass bell on half hours and hours, with a replaced balance. Two enclosed spring barrels, nothing signed, all enclosed in a large tin can with a back cover. One piece porcelain dial is 5 inches, good repair around the right wind arbor. Original hands, heavy beveled glass in a nice cast bezel. Thermometer is accurate in both Fahrenheit and Reaumur (Celsius) degrees. Working Barometer has a good 4 inches porcelain signed dial, "REA", or "ARE"? I am typing this as hurricane Frances is passing thru Kentucky and the barometer reads, "Much Rain".
