Elliott Clock Co., miniature grandfather's clock, ca. 1950. Quality walnut case, original finish, 59.5 inches high, paneled top and bottom with OG feet. Door on back to expose movement and chimes. Brass dial, lady's heads in corners. Screws attach silver chapter ring. Fancy design in center reading "Elliott Clock" and "Made in England". Chime and silent indicator at three; original Elliott operating label on rear door. The 8-day triple wind 7-jewel movement plays Westminster or Whittington chimes. You change tunes by turning knob on back of movement at striking hammers. This high grade heavy movement has similar quality escapement as a Chelsea clock. Recently oiled and is running and chiming properly.
