This direct fusee came along a decade after other companies had ceased making fusee movements. Why? No one knows. The walnut case has been refinished-restored. It is 23.5 inches tall. They did not clean the movement, but it runs fine. 8 day movement is not signed on the front plate, fusee barrels are metal. Original glass has some flaking. Dial has new paper on the old pan. Not in the New Haven book, but there are several Bulletins articles about this clock. Bulletin Supplement No. 9, page 26; Bulletin No. 270, page 10; Bulletin No. 296, pages 358-360.
