C.1850, Mass Banjo, 8-day, gold front, weight driven, 8-day.

Condition: this clock has the appearance of an 1825 clock, but is really 1850 or later. The movement is identical to an unsigned Howard and Davis that we have on the wall here, and attaches with a large center screw from the rear. It is known that H+D supplied movements to the trade at the time, and the rest of the clock certainly never saw the Howard shop. Bill purchased this clock from John White, who probably did not know the clocks true age. Reproduction Willard style tablets are excellent. Height 41 inches
