Condition - Refinished rosewood veneered case is in good clean condition with a little veneer loss on the edges of the base and a couple of chips on the door. Original painted dial has some wear to the chapter ring, but is way above average. Hands are original. Hammer to the alarm is broken and will need repair. Mirror is original. Original gilt molding around the doors is now gold painted. A photo of the movement can be found in "Seth Thomas Clocks and Movements 3rd edition Vol. 1, pg. 217 by Tran Duy Ly". Movement and label are both marked Thomaston. Height 9.5 inches
