Condition - Refinished mahogany case is in good condition with veneer damage and some loss on the base and couple of chips on the door. The clock has problems in that the movement is not original to the case, as there are extra mounting holes. Repainted dial is old, but may not be original has there are extra mounting holes. Tablet is original, but has been out of the case. Hands are modern replacements. Label is Thomaston and movement is marked Plymouth. A photo of the movement can be found in "Seth Thomas Clocks and Movements 3rd edition Vol. 1, pg. 217 by Tran Duy Ly". Still a cute clock. Height 9.25 inches
