Condition: this particular clock has had a great deal of restoration. The throat and bottom door are new, tablets new, dial new [antique finish], weight new. The case back and movement were "born together", so at least the basics are old. Abbott developed and was to our knowledge the sole producer of these unique timepiece movements with plates shaped like a grand piano. Ela, Bailey and Petrucelli differ somewhat on Abbott's dates and addresses, however they all agree on Abbott's exclusive use of the piano design. Height 33 inches
