Condition - Refinished mahogany veneered case with restorations. Scroll top looks to be original, but the tips of the scrolls have been professionally replaced. Tablet has been repainted in place in proper motif. Painted dial is almost perfect and in a remarkable state of preservation. The movement is correct to the case and dial. Feet and skirt look to be original, with some repairs on the tips of the skirt. Finials maybe period or very old as they are seamed like the originals. With census label showing US population at 9.6 million. Height 31.5 inches
