Condition: the silk thread suspension has been replaced with a steel leaf suspension, which can be changed back. A modern round glass dome has been adapted to fit over the movement setting on the mezzanine, and serves well to keep dust out of the movement. Sometimes called a "temple of love", the four marble pillars with twisted ormolu trim. The clock is running and striking briskly. Ht of clock 15.7", with dome 16.5"
