Condition: the marble case with some corner and edge losses. The unique movement with two levers for disengaging the globe from the movement to allow for demonstration purposes, one top left, the other to the left of 9 o'clock actually raises the 'scape pivot to protect the verge (special care required with this one). The globe with a repair at the North Pole (looks OK). Note a related clock with same movement sold at the 1993 Sotheby's Meraux sale, lot 481, for $8,050. Height 21 inches
