Condition: fancy cast case has robed females at each corner, depicting the 4 seasons; gilding was re-done about 20 years ago. Handle is of two gilt mermaids, intertwined. Rear door is cast with rotating shutter for winding. Original gilt and embossed lever platform is intact. Porcelain dial has a glued chip, lower right corner. Movement is clean and running. Hour hand slightly out of position. Both the movement and the dial are signed Bolviller a Paris. From collection of the late Betty Mather. Height 8.25 inches
