C.1875, Austrian, Anton Vogel, "Jahr-Uhr", weight driven year duration wall clock in a walnut case. Condition: excellent condition, the light walnut case professionally cleaned and waxed in Vienna around 1980. This clock has many of the features that a Vienna collector looks for: grid pendulum, black dial with gold numerals, original maker's name on dial, fancy saddle pulley (for the two weights), delicate hands (silvered for contrast with the gold and black), original finials, moldings and case stabilizers (with lock rings). Weights are replacements (total weight 10kg, 22lb). This quality 6-wheel movement is original to the case, and was professionally cleaned around 10 years ago and the timepiece has been running on Mather's parlor wall ever since. There are no extra holes in the case. Height 83 inches
