Condition: Although there are a few nick and corner chips on the pottery, they are difficult to pick out except on close inspection: you can see from the foto that overall this has a nice appearance. The case is not cracked and has no repairs; hand painted theme of a mother at the river with child, playing the lyre (more primitive representation as is normal with these country pottery cased) The well made round movement has been cleaned and is running well; note nice porcelain dial with Roman numerals is perfect, and with delicate cast hands that have been chased. Height 18 inches
