C.1890, French for Tiffany and Co., New York, gilt bronze ladies desk clock with guilloche side panels depicting ladies in gowns. Condition: this clock has had a hard life and is waiting for restoration. Both side panels have some cracks and corner damage, still looking Ok and will respond to restoration; the detail on the ladies gowns and faces is fine. The well made gong strike movement (a small unit) is signed Tiffany and Co., as is the 2.3" dial which also has polychrome decorations. The top of the bronze case has a bagpipe and a tambourine amongst ribbons. When fully restored this clock would fetch $5,000, so leave room to pay for needed work. Height 10.5 inches
