Condition - Partially refinished walnut case in nice condition with original drops and crest; top finials from another clock, with new dowels. Cast statues painted silver are reproductions. Tablet glass is original. Original dial is stained and has turned dark from age. Hands are original. There are no labels except for the movement stamped "Bridgeport". This is the same model made by William L.Gilbert Clock Co., who likely made this case for Bridgeport. Bridgeport Brass were only in business for a short while in the 1875-80 period. Uncommon maker. Proper replacement top finials are available from the supply houses. Height 24 inches
