Condition: Some one has highlighted the gold accents and then brushed over the entire case with varnish. Clock has the better Nickel plated movement, with spring cups and with open escapement on the porcelain dial (minor hairlines). There was either an urn or a bust on the top of the case that is now missing. We looked through several Ansonia references, and did not find this case, which has a lot of style with caryatids on either side of the dial. Height 14.5 inches
