Condition: Mahogany case is in good condition with an old finish. Original painted convex dial is very nice with just a couple of paint chips at about 9:30. Hands are original. Large fusee movement, with shaped plates and heavy baluster pillars, now with cable and running robustly. Pendulum is period, however threaded rating assembly is absent. Unusual feature is that the side door slides up to gain access rather than being hinged. Bottom access door is a replacement in mahogany, and well done. Needs interior glue block and top position board behind bezel. Latch to the heavy brass bezel is broken off. Overall good condition for its age and very restorable. Height 14 inches
