Condition: Bert Doloff made this case maybe 20 years ago, to give the good movement a new lease on life. It has a cherry colored finish, and a little wood filler where joints were not even. Both dials were repainted by the Dial House for Bert, and show the retailer, Jas. Ritchie and Son, 2 Leith St, Edinburgh, GPO. Note the second set of motion works are mounted on a third plate, held with pillars to the rear plate of the movement, a shaft extending from the front motion works rearward. (now cable drive) Height 16 inches
