Condition: overall this clock is in good condition with original gilt tablet and sandwich glass pendulum. Finish of the clock is original with good patina, and minor nicks and scrapes; one area on upper left molding is rubbed to bare wood. One minus we could see is the changed (long ago) center finial. It has a similar profile to the others, but has been elongated by the maker to suit his opinion of style. For reference, see Ly's 1992 Welch book, page 170, where both the line drawing and actual photo show 3 identical finials. Height of this clock 25 inches
