C.1845, Birge and Fuller, Bristol, Conn, WAGON SPRING, with Daniel Pratt overpaste label on 8-day double steeple case.

Condition: needing some attention will be the fact that someone who did not understand the clock took a sawsall and cut the backboard in 2 horizontally, and it is a little unstable; some glue and a small tasteful reinforcement will solve the problem. Secondly, one "accelerating lever" has been welded, perhaps why the case was cut. On the plus side is the nicest Dan'l Pratt card label we have seen and the GREATEST set of original cut tablets in today's sale. Original dial is also nice. Movement is signed. Old finish on case with nice patina. Height 27 inches
