Condition: overall excellent condition, with original gilding intact and bright. This is an imposing clock, a standing goddess at top, with a strutting peacock beside her, and the clock flanked by mythical figures with the winged body of a bird and the head of a lady, and with star shaped trims from their chest, each carrying a chain swag with a plumb bob. The well made movement is signed as in the headline, with bell strike. Height 21.2 inches
