C.1825, Erastus Hodges, Torrington, Conn, Pillar and Scroll, 30-hour, 2-wt shelf clock, with tablet repainted in place. Condition: generally in very good condition, the case refinished some time ago and with nice patina. The finials are modern. Scrolls are original and good; feet and skirt nicely replaced. The "East-West" movement has some repairs, however seems complete and functional. The Hodges label is excellent. Hands are period. Wonderful original Hodges dial matches reference dials.
